Process of Filming
We started to film mine after Jasmine's. We filmed in the kitchen first as there were people in the living room. We filmed in the fridge first so the camera wouldn't get too cold. As we had checked the sound outside while filming Jasmine's ad, I checked it again just to make sure the sound was good inside. Then I filmed the drink being poured which I didn't need sound. Then we told Jasmine's parents to leave the living room so we could film then we film the living room parts.
The Problem
I could only get a few shots of each part because we were in a rush as we only had 1 hour to film both mine and Jasmine's, when trying to turn the camera on it wouldn't, it would make a noise but not turn on, we spent 15 minuets trying to turn the camera on. In the last part I filmed, in the living room, our parents were talking as my mum had come to pick Betti, Kailey and I up. The lighting was bad, as I planned to have day light maybe a side light as well to lighten the ad but it got dark and the lighting was really bad. we would of been able to film it earlier in the day but the original person, Leanne, didn't want to do it, so I asked my sister and as she goes to school we had to wait for her and Kailey. Kailey couldn't get there so got picked up when my sister was brought round at about 4pm.
Would do Differently
For a re-shoot I would make sure that everyone is free on that day, maybe a weekend so everyone would pretty much be available, also that everyone can get to the location on time and that the location is going to be somewhat empty, so I would make sure everyone could be there earlier in the day when Jasmine's parents are at work then we'd have the space and no disruptions. If everyone got there on time then I would have set up the camera and made sure it could turn on, maybe just spend 10 in advance turning it on. I would have made sure the lighting was good enough maybe added a light to make it better. I would take more shots and I'd take my time filming different parts as we'd probably have more time.
The Crew
Jasmine, Kailey and my sister were apart of my crew. Jasmine helped with the camera, Betti and Kailey acted in it. When filming Kailey, she'd say her line stiffly and unnaturally so I told her to loosen up a bit, even when filming Jasmine's, if we'd had more time Kailey probably would have loosened up and said her lines more naturally, also the fact that our parents were watching us film when I filmed her parts last might have made her a bit nervous or embarrassed Kailey did try and loosen up as some of the clips are better than others. My sister was good at her part, she said everything naturally and didn't seem stiff like Kailey, although I would have liked both of them to seem more energetic and happy looking.

Editing
when reviewing the clips, the camera somehow filmed 30 seconds before we'd press record you can even hear the record button being pressed. In some of the clips Kailey's line is really good but she looks stiff so I took the audio from one clip and synced it up the best I could with another clip that wasn't really that different but still better. In the first clip you can hear the button being pressed and the door bell, in the back just before Kailey says her line. In the other clip I took audio from another take of this when Kailey says her line more clearly and there is no background noise.
When editing the part when friend #1 puts the drink down on the window friend 1 was really dark and you can't see the drink and because the background was too bright, if we had had more time and hadn't had to rush I may have got better takes, I did try messing around with the brightness and colour wheels but it just made it look really static like, so I zoomed in the shot to just the drink which was better as now you can see the drink, it was still blurry though, and I thought that that part needs to be clear so the user can see the drink. So I got a picture off the Internet and tracked it down with the drink, which I don't think was the best thing to do and bit cringy.
On the word naked I added 2 effects to make it stand out, the drop shadow the same colour as the other wording to make the word stand out from the plain white background and the outer glow which made the shadow around it bigger and more eye catching.
When making this one it was more organised as Tony just went over rulers and organisation of a print ad. Still very similar to the others.

For the end card I didn't really know what to do so I just went on Photoshop and made a rough one to expand from there. which also helped me find the font I'm using in my print ads.
One some of the naked ads I saw they had a panning slogan at the end with the drinks so I put my first banner at the end.
Then realised it would be difficult to read as the slogan is clumped together to fit on the web banner, so I made my own panning end card which has the words spread out and read as you go, which did make my ad a little longer so people would have enough time to read it.
Now that I look at it, I may have to change it to look the same as my print adds.
For the music I didn't really know
what type of music to do and I didn't really think music would be good with it
but because the audio was so bad I cut out most of it and decided to experiment
with royalty free ad music I found on Youtube. I
clicked on a playlist from the channel WaveToys -
Background Music For Videos, I got 3 songs I think and saw which one worked
best, I picked the one I used because the beat drops just as friend #1 puts the
drink down to show the other friend, it's now the friend has been shown the
drink they aren't confused anymore, they both can sit and relax with their
smoothies.
This is a final edit I might change it if needed:
I was thinking about changing the end card to be the same as my print ads and just have "get naked" at the end, but then I thought that it could have the whole slogan in it and if I did do that cut out the second part I'd have to make a new end card and I don't really want to rearrange it and do it again.
The Print Ads
As Tony wasn't here for most of the duration of the project I kind of forgot we had to make print ads, but when he came back I did make a rough plan and then later made a rough version of the DPS which I changed to billboard as it saw the drink would get squashed in the seem of the magazine, in Photoshop.

I started the web banner and made it like the second billboard, but the whole word is highlighted. The word naked is still standing out and different to the rest of the slogan.
maybe when making another I could try out the jittery effect like the billboard and add some more drinks in the back.
I made this one more like the last billboard changing the blue to a darker blue and making the word naked jittery, I got rid of the glow around the whole slogan making the word the focus of the banner. It doesn't really work though the yellow and green words behind kind of clash with the drinks.
I tried something different with the billboard, making it colourful so people see it and the wording simple so people don't have to read it they can just see it.
This one I think is the best one so I will try and change the web banner and start the poster like this one.
